Dr. Mohamed El-Erian has had a successful career as an investment analyst, investor and market commentator. Currently, the Chief Economic Advisor at Allianz, Chair of Grammercy Fund Management and President of Queens College, Cambridge. He has written two New York Times Bestsellers and is a Financial Times contributing editor and Bloomberg columnist. Dr. El-Erian formerly served as the CEO of PIMCO and as Chair of President Obama’s Global Development Council.
Stephanie Kelton is a Professor and New York Times best-selling author. She has been a contributor at Bloomberg Opinion and written for Financial Times, The New York Times, CNN and many other news agencies. She served as chief economist on the US Senate Budget Committee and was a senior economic advisor to Bernie Sanders during his 2016 and 2020 Presidential campaigns. Politico called her one of the most influential thinkers in 2016 and Barron’s named her one of the 100 most influential women in finance for 2020.
El-Erian and Kelton are important influencers in policy debate today. Both considered leading authorities on Modern Monetary Theory, their discussion is worth listening to.
