I am a Certified Financial Planner working at an independent firm in Jacksonville, Florida. I have a unique intention in this business in that my focus is all about people. My priority is to work with the right people, not just the rich people. My minimum is more than a dollar amount: my clients must be the right fit for my practice in that they are nice, receptive to advice and looking for a financial planning relationship with an advisor who will be working with them for the long term. I spend a lot of time with my clients and give superior client service, there are few out there who can provide a better client service experience better than I can. I am reliable and honest. I do not push products and educate my clients along the way as to what products may benefit them and why. As a Certified Financial Planner, I work in a fiduciary capacity which means that I must act within the best interest of my clients. I see my role as an advisor to be someone who provides clarity and confidence to my clients’ lives, not fear and confusion. Similar to a psychologist or counselor, I want them leaving my office feeling better and with each meeting and that progress has been made. I consider myself my client’s personal Chief Financial Officer, knowing their financial lives better than they do and having answers when they need them as things change. I am the quarterback and gatekeeper to the key players of my client’s financial world: accountants, attorneys, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, etc… We live in a complicated, fast moving world and I strive to be a source of simplicity and calm for people in working with their personal finances.
